Rooted in Resilience is the memoir of Jayant Mitra — a man who began his journey in the world of computers in 1979 as a console operator on an IBM mainframe and, over four remarkable decades, rose to become an entrepreneur, corporate leader, and trusted technology consultant across some of India’s most demanding industries.

His story moves from the innocence of childhood and school days in Mumbai through the gritty early years of building Venus Computers, to twelve years at the helm of ACE Business Consultants, a steep corporate ascent at Glodyne Technoserve, and a pivotal role as vice president at COMMEX.

Then came 1st October 2015 — the morning of a regular walk near Charni Road that changed everything forever. An accident so severe that doctors gave him almost no chance of survival. 86 days in the ICU. 60 days in a coma. 15 operations. And through it all — an unbreakable will to live again.
